The ski slopes are just a five-minute drive away, and a downhill run leads directly from the hotel to the valley station. You can have your equipment serviced in our in-house shop or rent it for your stay. Our competent staff are always at your service.
But a winter vacation at Wilder Kaiser offers much more than just skiing. As a cross-country skier, you can make use of over 70 kilometers of trails. A one-kilometer section is even open at night and illuminated until 9:30 pm. Tobogganing is also a blast during your winter vacation at Wilder Kaiser. In the vicinity, you have access to four toboggan runs. If you prefer leisurely walks to enjoy the winter landscape in the Wilder Kaiser holiday region, there are several paths available for winter and snowshoe hiking. In the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental, this is not a problem, as it boasts the largest night skiing area in Austria. From Wednesday to Saturday, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, ten kilometers of slopes are illuminated, with the valley descent lit from 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm. In cross-country skiing, there's no distinction between beginners and pros, adults and children, or between skating and the classical style. At Wilder Kaiser, there are over 70 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails for every taste. The landscape in the holiday region where our lodge is located is so diverse that every cross-country skier will find something to enjoy. Our favorite trail is the ten-kilometer-long Kaiserloipe, which runs at the foot of the majestic Kaiser Mountains.
For those who can't get enough of cross-country skiing during the day at Wilder Kaiser, there's also the opportunity to do so at night. Until 9:30 pm, the approximately one-kilometer-long night trail in the village, just 3 minutes from the lodge, is fully illuminated and open for cross-country skiers.
