Autumn is dedicated to folk music in the Wilder Kaiser area. Two weeks full of stars and plenty of traditional food and drink await you!

Just a seven-minute drive away from our Hotel Das Alpin, your Wilder Kaiser accommodation, you’ll find the village of Ellmau – the setting for Musikherbst, the most famous folk music festival in the Alps. The stunning mountain landscape of the Wilder Kaiser offers the perfect backdrop for enjoying feel-good music from 28 September to 1 October and from 5 to 8 October. 6,000 guests are expected to attend the festival to watch the biggest stars of the folk music genre perform. Hansi Hinterseer, Howard Carpendale, Jürgen Drews, and many other stars will take to the stage in the huge marquee in the village centre to make the festival an unforgettable experience.

During these two musical weeks in autumn, there will be exciting highlights for foodies and mountain lovers beyond the festival tent, too. Stroll through the large Ellmau farmers’ market and sample various local products. And on Thursdays and Fridays, you can enjoy a “breakfast beer” with breathtaking views of the majestic Wilder Kaiser. A feast for the eyes, ears, and palate!
