Nordic skiing in Austria’s Wilder Kaiser region

For beginners and professionals

Nordic skiingon Austria’s Wilder Kaiser makes no distinction between beginners and professionals, between adults and children, or between skating and classic style. At the Wilder Kaiser, there are more than 70 kilometres of Nordic ski trails for all levels at your disposal. The landscape in the holiday region, where our hotel is located at the Wilder Kaiser, is so varied that every Nordic skier is sure to be pleased. Our favourite Nordic trail is the ten-kilometre Kaiser Nordic trail, which runs along the foot of the majestic Kaiser Mountains.

If you can't get enough of Nordic skiing in Austria at the Wilder Kaiser during the day, you can also do so at night. The one-kilometre night track is fully illuminated and open for Nordic skiers until 9:30pm.

If you want to go Nordic skiing and shooting, you can go to the biathlon centre in Erpfendorf, which is about 20 kilometres away. The training track can be used by everyone, and at the shooting ranges you can test how accurate your abilities are.
